Second interview is up!

I headed over the Gladesville to chat with Mark Evans about qualifying for the Australian Open team, and how you get motivated in a small town with limited Ultimate.

In the last half, I asked about how not making the 2008 Juniors team affected his outlook on the game, and what advice he had for young players looking to make it in to the club scene. Finally, he briefly touched on his personal goals for the current nationals season.

Max and I discuss University Ultimate, mainly the proposed switch from Mixed to Open/Womens, as well as the potential for growth.

In the final part of this interview Max shares his ideas on what can be done in order to get the most out of the growing possiblities in media for Ultimate.

Hey all, welcome to Best Perspective.

I started this blog mainly as a personal project, but also to fill a gap that I saw in the online Ultimate scene. While there are several blogs around that provide information on tactics, how to play, and game footage, I wanted to create a place to connect the broader community with the goings-on of the elite level. It is also a goal of this blog to collect the personal stories of some top level playes, and to gather opinions on a range of Ultimate-related topics, hopefully creating discussion and bringing ideas together on how our sport can excel in the future.
